Delphi Classical Tour - One Day
A Full Day tour to Delphi including Delphi Site and the Museum
At the slopes of Mount Parnassos, passing through Thebes, Levadia, Arachova
Leaving Athens in the morning taking a scenic drive (2,5 hours approx) through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes - Levadia and Arachova we arrive at Delphi. The unique site of Delphi considered as the center (Omphalos) of the Earth and the Universe, couples history and mythology and offers one of the most popular archaeological adventures worldwide.
You will be guided through the ancient site of Delphi, visiting the the Ancient Sanctuary of Apollo, the Delphi Museum full of archaeological treasures, the Athenian treasury and the Sanctuary of Apollo.
After the visit at the Ancient site and the Museum you will be taken to the Village of Delphi for lunch.
Leaving Delphi for Athens - short stop at the beautiful Village Arachova famous for its bright multi-colored carpets and a marvellus soft cheese.
Arriving back to Athens approx 18:30
